Over $2.5 million in prize money was up for grabs during the annual tournament series
Uruguay’s Fabrizio González captured the Super High Roller title at the third stage of the Enjoy Poker Tour 2025, held from August 1 to 9 at Enjoy Punta del Este. The popular coastal resort once again hosted the series, which drew a diverse international field and delivered over $2.5 million in total prize money.
The week-long festival featured more than 20 events, including regular tournaments, satellites, the Main Event, High Roller, and the $500,000-guaranteed Super High Roller. That headline high-stakes tournament surpassed expectations, attracting some of the toughest players in the region and beyond. González, a former member of Team Enjoy, secured the win in front of a home crowd, pocketing $152,780 after defeating Russia’s Evgenii Akimov heads-up.
While González celebrated in the Super High Roller, Argentina also had a strong showing. Martín Prado took down the $1 million-guaranteed Main Event, claiming $191,335, with Akimov finishing second for $134,145 and Colombia’s Carlos Serrano in third for $86,260. In the High Roller, Argentine pro Gaspar Fernández emerged victorious, earning $108,510 after topping Serrano in their final showdown.
This latest stop on the Enjoy Poker Tour welcomed over 2,000 entries from countries including Russia, Germany, Colombia, Panama, and the United States. The mix of local and international participation reinforced Punta del Este’s status as a prime poker destination in South America.
Looking ahead, the venue is set to host Enjoy Poker Week in October, which comes with a $1 million guaranteed prize pool. The season will conclude in December with the prestigious Millionaire Grand Final, expected to attract many of the game’s biggest names.
Enjoy Punta del Este, which opened in 1997, offers 292 ocean-view rooms, a 4,000-square-meter casino with 550 slots and 75 tables, and extensive dining and event facilities, making it a central hub for major poker action in the region.
