Soccer star Neymar celebrates birthday by winning poker tourney

The Brazilian soccer phenom is known for his penchant for poker

Brazilian soccer star Neymar observed his 32nd birthday by taking first place in a poker tournament that was part of the celebration. He also picked up a trophy and a medal for the victory.

The event was a cheerful celebration of the superstar’s birthday and showed Neymar’s passion for the game. Neymar was happy with his achievement and shared a recent photo on Instagram to show off his trophy.

The tournament was held before Neymar’s official birthday on February 5, where he highlighted not only his football talents but also his strategic skillfulness in poker. Neymar showed off his trophy and medal in the posts and also conveyed a few moments from the tournament. Dressed in a black suit, the Brazilian national team star blended in style, putting two cards in his jacket pocket.

One of the photos Neymar shared showed a poster of him playing for Al-Hilal, which contributed to the event’s distinctive decorations. Other photos included personal moments with his daughter Mavie and Bruna Biancardi, his ex-girlfriend and child’s mother.

Neymar is currently recovering from a left knee injury and is expected to be back on the pitch sometime in August, meaning he could possibly miss participating in the Copa América. He was hurt in the first half of Brazil’s 2-0 loss to Uruguay on October 17 in Montevideo at the South American 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

After feeling severe pain, Neymar fell to the Centenário Stadium pitch and would later undergo surgery to repair his left knee.
