The controversy surrounding Postle continues, as does his denial of any wrongdoing
Mike Postle made a rare appearance on Monday night’s Omar of The OTC’s X Spaces conversation as he continues his four-year denial of allegations that he cheated while playing on poker live streams. However, numerous listeners thought the hosts failed to ask any difficult questions.
Postle says he’d like a public on-air debate with his accuser, Veronica Brill, a regular at the tables and the infamous Stones Live streams. The hosts of the more than one-hour chat played buddy-buddy with the accused poker cheater, refusing to contest any of his comments.
Numerous individuals in the poker community tried to investigate the accusations. Many of them concluded in 2019 that Postle was guilty after examining various hands from the Stones Live streams. “I want to have a fair, simple discussion with Veronica on her and Nick’s show. What I want from that is no editing,” said Postle during the Spaces discussion.
The veteran poker pro has avoided the public spotlight for the past four years, only appearing periodically to comment on the allegations. He made a surprise appearance at a Beau Rivage Casino $500,000 guaranteed tournament in Biloxi, Mississippi, in January 2023, where he would finish seventh for $32,703.
Postle vehemently denied the allegations and passionately expressed his thoughts against those who he feels ruined his life and the lives of some people close to him. This includes Stones Gambling Hall tournament director Justin Kuraitis, who many accuse of conspiring with Postle to cheat during Stones Live games.
“Don’t believe everything you hear just because someone said it on the internet or YouTube,” Postle suggested to the X Spaces listeners.
