The two poker greats scored their latest big pots in the PokerGO Tour Mixed Games series
Several Poker Hall of Famers had a good week last week at the tables, especially a couple of longtime pros who were inducted in 2018. John Hennigan and Mori Eskandani took wins at the 2024 PokerGO Tour (PGT) Mixed Games series in Las Vegas.
Hennigan took the title in the $5,100 8-Game event for $120,150. Eskandani, the PokerGO president, added another win in a $10,200 H.O.R.S.E. tournament for a career-high $201,600 and his first title in a PGT event.

The 2024 PGT Mixed Games series runs from February 28 to March 8 and started with Event #1: $5,100 H.O.R.S.E., which attracted 87 entrants as Russian Maksim Pisarenko beat mixed game specialist Benny Glaser to take the $117,450 top prize.
Hennigan, a six-time bracelet winner with $9.2 million in live earnings, defeated Adam Friedman in the second event in a heads-up showdown. Event #3: $10,200 H.O.R.S.E. saw Eskandani take down a final table that included Glaser, six-time bracelet winner Jeremy Ausmus, and fellow Poker Hall of Famer Daniel Negreanu.
Negreanu was looking to improve on his 5th-place finish in Event #1 for $30,450, which he did after taking fourth for $63,000. He began the year with a PGT win for $218,400 and continues demonstrating that his new 2024 strategy is paying dividends.
Glaser would come up short again, as the five-time bracelet winner finished third for $88,200 ahead of the showdown between Ausmus and Eskandani.
The final hand of Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better saw a short-stacked Ausmus move all in before Eskandani flopped two pair, and he would finish in second for $126,000.
