Poker players can hit the high seas and enjoy their favorite game in style
Poker League of Nations (PLON), a renowned women’s poker organization, is hosting a poker cruise this October departing from Miami, FL, with all members eligible to win a place on board for free.
2021 GPI Female Player of the Year Nadya Magnus, and PLON founder Lena Evans will give away three cruise packages worth $5,500, including a free entry into the PLON Main Event, to take place in the WPT at Sea Poker Room.
The Virgin Voyages cruise ship will sail from Miami with stops in Costa Maya and Bimini Beach. PLON members can win one of three spots on the cruise by competing in an online poker freeroll tournament on September 9. The top three finishers will receive a travel and poker package valued at $1,838.
PLON is a worldwide organization that promotes women in poker, often hosting many online and live events to encourage more women to take up the game. “Our mission is promoting and supporting women in the poker world,” said Evans.
Magnus has been helping women in poker for many years. Besides donating free spots on the cruise, she’s giving one lucky member a free entry into the $10,400 buy-in WPT World Championship in December at Wynn Las Vegas. Evans will be donating a ClubWPT Diamond Membership worth $1,800 to the prize pool, along with other items.
PLON has participated in many giveaways to women over the past six years, including Poker Masters $10k High Roller seats, several $10,000 WSOP Main Event entries, and many international series seats.
