Last year, in an incident that made headlines on Michigan-based platforms like UpNorthLive.com, Rudy Gavaldon was taken into custody and confined at the Grand Traverse County Jail. On July 30, Gavaldon, who goes by Flyheim86 in the online poker rooms, was apprehended for the alleged vicious assault on his wife, Lara Gavaldon. Lara suffered grave injuries from the reported attack, resulting in the tragic loss of one of her eyes.
At dawn on July 30, 2022, authorities were alerted to an incident in Blair Township involving a resident seeking urgent help from a neighbor. This distressed individual claimed to be in a life-threatening situation. Upon their arrival, law enforcement officials discovered Gavaldon, physically unscathed and holding a young child.
According to reports, Gavaldon alleged that it was his wife who was gravely injured. Subsequent scrutiny led the police to discover Lara suffering and desperately requiring immediate medical assistance. Consequently, she was transported to the hospital due to severe injuries. The next day, Gavaldon was taken into custody and presented before the court for further legal proceedings.
The victim’s acquaintances initiated a fundraising campaign on GoFundMe, revealing that the victim has undergone numerous surgical procedures. Lara, on the other hand, portrays herself in a positive and vibrant light through her Instagram account, masking any exterior injuries.
