Competing in the $51,150 buy-in Pot-Limit Omaha event, Jouhkimainen outplayed a field of 27 entries to claim the top prize of $526,900, marking the largest win of his career.
This triumph significantly boosts Jouhkimainen’s career earnings, pushing his total to $7,173,919. This places him third on Finland’s all-time tournament earnings list, trailing only poker legends Patrik Antonius and Juha Helppi. Despite having already achieved a lot in his career, including a coveted WSOP bracelet, this victory marks his first title of 2024.
