Negreanu plans on participating in 40 events this summer

Daniel Negreanu is gearing up for another busy summer at the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP), and he plans to chase gold in a big way. The seven-time bracelet winner has mapped out a 40-event schedule at the series in Las Vegas, targeting a wide mix of formats and buy-ins.

The action begins May 26 at Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas, which once again host the full festival. Out of 100 bracelet events on the calendar, Negreanu intends to play roughly 40% of them. His summer starts with the $5,000 Pot-Limit Omaha eight-handed event.

His slate includes 17 No-Limit Hold’em tournaments, 15 mixed-game events, and eight pot-limit Omaha contests. Bigger buy-ins such as the $250,000 Super High Roller are on his radar, but he is also mixing in smaller-field and value-driven events, including the $300 Gladiators tournament.

Several key stops stand out on his schedule. He plans to enter the $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. Championship on June 18, the $25,000 High Roller PLO/NLH Mixed on June 23, and the $100,000 High Roller Pot-Limit Omaha on June 30. Most of his events start at noon or later, limiting early drives from his Lake Las Vegas home.

Negreanu, a member of the Poker Hall of Fame, ended an 11-year bracelet drought in 2024. He also posted a profit at the 2025 WSOP, his first winning series in several years. He remains one of the few elite players who publicly share full summer results.
