Cherish Andrews came out on top in the $25,000 High Roller at the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown after a four-way deal was made at the final table. The tournament drew 70 entries, creating a prize pool of $1.7 million and easily surpassing the $1 million guarantee. Andrews secured the largest payout of the group, earning over $408,000 and adding a second Seminole trophy to her resume.

Andrews, who entered the final four with the biggest stack, used her chip lead to negotiate the most favorable slice of the prize pool. Also part of the deal was her partner, Brock Wilson, who took home $313,000. Combined, the couple walked away with over $700,000 in prize money.
The decision to chop came shortly after Kevin Rabichow was eliminated in fifth place. With time running out to register for a $5,000 Deep Stack event happening the same day, the remaining players opted to strike a deal rather than risk missing the next tournament.
At the time, Andrews had 135 big blinds, Frank Brannan had 96, Wilson had 77, and Clemen Deng, the short stack, held 44. Brannan agreed to take $342,000 for second place, and Deng rounded out the group with a strong payout as well.
This win marks a major milestone for Andrews. It’s her first victory in a tournament with a buy-in over $2,200, and the six-figure score pushes her career earnings past the $3.3 million mark, according to The Hendon Mob database. She was also named the 2024 GPI Female Player of the Year, and this latest result adds another highlight to an already strong year.
The unique ending and personal connection at the final table gave this High Roller event an extra layer of interest beyond the usual competitive fire.
