The rumors of a move out of King’s Casino Rozvadov have been made official
The World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) is officially leaving Rozvadov after nearly a decade, but its partnership with King’s Casino isn’t ending. Organizers confirmed that the 2026 edition will move to the Hilton Prague, with the series running from March 31 to April 12, 2026, in collaboration with King’s Casino Prague. The move signals a fresh chapter for the European branch of poker’s most prestigious tournament series.
WSOPE 2026 will feature 15 gold bracelet events, with the full schedule expected soon. Players from around the world will also have the chance to qualify through satellites, the exclusive online path to the live series. The festival will introduce WSOP+, a new app aimed at improving the player experience with smoother registration, live updates, and engagement tools throughout the event.
Ty Stewart, CEO of the World Series of Poker, described the Prague relocation as a “rebirth” for the series. He said the organization plans to elevate the festival into one of the world’s premier poker events. Prague’s strong poker culture, central location, and reputation for hosting large international tournaments make it an ideal new home for WSOPE after years in the quieter Rozvadov setting.
The move follows months of speculation about WSOPE’s future in Rozvadov, where attendance had dipped in recent years. King’s Casino, however, remains closely tied to the WSOP brand, with its Prague property now taking center stage. The change ensures the long-standing partnership continues, but in a setting better suited to handle the growing global poker audience.
Since its debut in 2007, WSOPE has traveled across iconic European cities, including London, Cannes, Berlin, and Paris. The upcoming Prague edition is expected to combine tradition with modern innovation, giving players a fresh experience while keeping the WSOP’s competitive spirit alive in one of Europe’s most vibrant poker destinations.
