With champions from across the globe, the Rozvadov stop once again proved why it’s a key WSOPC destination
The 2026 World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) stop at King’s Resort wrapped up in Rozvadov, Czechia, with a Main Event that highlighted the truly global reach of the tour. Players from across Europe and beyond packed the casino, creating one of the most diverse fields seen on the early WSOPC calendar.
Greek pro Georgios Vrakas emerged as the standout, winning the €1,500 (US$1,800) Main Event for €164,000 (US$190,000). He topped a field of 692 entries to secure his first WSOPC ring, adding another major result to a résumé that already includes big scores on the PokerStars circuit. The win also pushed him higher on Greece’s all-time money list.
The Main Event carried a €1,000,000 guarantee (US$2.08M) and delivered a final table loaded with international talent. Seven different countries were represented, underlining the appeal of King’s Resort as a meeting point for players from all over the poker world. Local Czech players Roman Papáček and Zdeněk Žižka both made deep runs, much to the home crowd’s delight.
Vrakas sealed the title heads-up against Mexico’s José Gómez Casillas after a short but tense duel. The final hand ended with Vrakas pairing up on the board, bringing the championship to a close and drawing applause from players and rail alike.
Beyond the Main Event, the festival featured 12 ring events over 13 days. Romania’s Cosmin-Ionuț Nica claimed the €3,000 High Roller for €68,100 (US$79,500), while Italy’s Daniele Sacchi won the €600 6-Max event for €26,240 (US$31,000).
The series concluded with Slovenia’s Jan Zupec taking the €1,000 ($1,600) Bounty Hunter title for €22,270 (US$26,000).
