Organizers cited the venue’s modern infrastructure and expanded capacity as primary drivers for the transition. The change aims to accommodate larger fields and a more diverse range of high-roller events scheduled for the December series.
Tournament directors have already begun finalizing the schedule, which will feature a mix of traditional Hold’em and high-stakes mixed games and run from December 1 to December 18. The resort’s 100,000-square-foot casino space will serve as the primary hub for the championship bracelets.
This expansive floor plan allows for a more efficient management of the massive player influx that accompanies the WSOP brand. Every square foot of the gaming area is being optimized to ensure the logistics match the high stakes of the international circuit.
Players can expect a streamlined experience due to the integrated nature of the Baha Mar complex, which offers upgraded amenities. The shift allows for more efficient registration and payout processes compared to previous regional installments.
Early reports indicate that this year’s WSOP Paradise schedule will mirror the success of previous years while adding new tiered buy-in structures to attract a broader demographic of gamblers.
This venue change represents the most significant logistical update to the winter poker circuit in several years.
