The tournament series begins on January 23 and runs through February 3
The World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) is returning to Horseshoe Tunica this January, bringing an exciting lineup of events and over $1.1 million in guaranteed prize pools. The series will run from January 23 to February 3, featuring 18 gold ring events along with daily side events and satellite tournaments.
The highlight of the series is the $1,700 Main Event, boasting a $500,000 guaranteed prize pool. Players looking for a variety of options can choose from events with entry fees as low as $300, making the schedule accessible to a wide range of participants.
Notable low-cost events include a $300 Ladies Event, two Seniors Events priced at $300 and $400, and a pair of $400 Pot-Limit Omaha tournaments, one of which features an 8-or-better format. For high-stakes enthusiasts, the $1,100 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller event is also on the schedule.
Daily side events, with buy-ins ranging from $100 to $250, add extra opportunities for players to compete. Many of these offer added incentives, such as Main Event seats included in the prize pool.
The Main Event kicks off with two Day 1 flights, scheduled for January 31 and February 1, allowing players multiple chances to secure a spot in later stages of the competition.
Last year’s Main Event at Horseshoe Tunica saw Klint Griffin emerge victorious from a field of 395 entries, taking home $127,307 out of a $596,235 prize pool. This year’s larger guarantee signals the potential for an even more competitive and lucrative series.
With its diverse schedule and substantial guarantees, the WSOP Circuit at Horseshoe Tunica promises to draw a mix of seasoned professionals and newcomers, all vying for gold rings and a share of the impressive prize pools.
