The poker series will kick off on January 30 and run through February 10
The World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) is set to return to Harrah’s Pompano Beach, bringing with it an impressive $2.8 million in guaranteed prize pools. Starting January 30 and running through February 10, the series will feature 18 WSOPC gold ring events and a host of satellite tournaments leading up to the main events.
The festival opens with the Double Stack Opener, a $400 No-Limit Hold’em event boasting a 40,000 starting stack and a $50,000 guarantee. Among the marquee tournaments are a $600 Mini-Main Event with a $400,000 guarantee, a $1,100 Mystery Bounty event with $250,000 guaranteed, and the highlight of the series, the $1,700 Main Event with a $1 million guarantee.
Many key events will feature multiple Day 1 flights to accommodate the anticipated large player turnout. The Main Event will offer two starting flights, while the $400 Monster Stack will have three, and a $400 No-Limit Hold’em event will provide four.
For players seeking a more intimate competition, there are restricted field events, including the Ladies, Seniors, and the new 40/40/40 Event, which requires participants to be over 40 and offers unique structures like 40,000 starting stacks and 40-minute blinds. Omaha enthusiasts can also look forward to two events: pot-limit Omaha and Big O.
Players eager to secure seats in these tournaments can take advantage of daily satellites hosted at Harrah’s Pompano Beach poker room.
This stop follows a successful WSOPC event at the venue in October 2024, where Ian Cohen captured the Main Event title and $193,100 in prize money. With high guarantees and competitive fields, this year’s series promises to deliver an exciting poker experience for players and fans.
