The lineup includes a number of big poker pros and other celebrities
The World Series of Poker (WSOP) Paradise winter series from the Atlantis Paradise Island in The Bahamas is set to run from December 3-14, featuring 15 bracelet events and more than $51 million in prizes. Several top pros are confirmed to attend, including Daniel Negreanu. WSOP commentators Lon McEachern and Norman Chad are already at the Atlantis shooting instructional videos for players to learn everything about the WSOP Paradise.
Entrants at WSOP Paradise events will also have a chance to play against the many celebrities attending the series, such as ”Boston” Rob Mariano from the Survivor TV series, soccer legend Sergio Aguero, NBA champion Tony Parker and rapper Hoodie Allen. More celebrities are expected to be announced before the series gets underway.
Seventeen-time bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth recently confirmed that he’ll seek to add another bracelet to his collection at WSOP Paradise. Hellmuth has only cashed once in the Bahamas, finishing fourth in Event #15: $5,300 Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) for $33,180 back in 2013.
Jonathan Little, who has 13 cashes in the Bahamas, will also attend following his recent $130,386 win at the StormX Invitational III in partnership with PokerGO and will seek his first WSOP gold bracelet.
The opening event at the 2023 WSOP Paradise is the $1,650 buy-in Mystery Millions on December 3 with a $5 million guarantee. At least $1 million will be awarded in each event, with the $1,500 Millionaire Maker and the $103,000 Ultra High Roller also guaranteeing at least $5 million in prizes. The $5,300 Main Event will pay $15 million to players with enough talent to make it under the bubble.
Winners will also receive a 10-night stay at the elegant Atlantis Paradise Island resort.
