Phil Hellmuth has become an ambassador for the gambling and betting brand
Phil Hellmuth, famously known as “The Poker Brat,” is set to become the face of BetRivers, marking a new chapter in his illustrious career. Through a series of posts on social media platform X, the all-time leader in World Series of Poker gold bracelets teased the collaboration with unmistakable hints.

Decked out in BetRivers-branded gear during a photo shoot in San Francisco, Hellmuth left little room for speculation. From tilting his hat to prominently display the logo to posing at a poker table and with sports equipment, the partnership appears to bridge both poker and sports betting.
Hellmuth’s role isn’t limited to poker. A video shows him sporting hockey gloves and holding a stick, hinting at his involvement with BetRivers Sportsbook as well. His casual comment about betting on various sports adds further confirmation to his multifaceted role in promoting the brand.
This move follows Hellmuth’s financial connection to Rush Street Interactive (RSI), the operator of BetRivers. In 2020, Poker Brat invested $300,000 in a SPAC that later merged with RSI, taking the company public. While he profited significantly from selling his RSI shares earlier this year, his involvement with BetRivers appears to remain strong as he now steps into a promotional role.
BetRivers has been expanding its poker footprint, particularly with the recent launch of BetRivers Poker in Pennsylvania. This platform represents the U.S. revival of Run It Once Poker, an online poker room originally founded by pro Phil Galfond. Despite the platform’s earlier struggles, RSI’s acquisition and relaunch signal its commitment to growing poker in the US market.
