Caesars has brought the popular card room back to its former location
The poker room at Caesars Palace is back in its original home today after a brief stint among the retail shops on Appian Way. The move marks a return to the venue’s longtime location near the sportsbook, bringing familiar surroundings to players who have awaited the comeback since last summer. Caesars had temporarily relocated the poker room in mid-2025 to make way for a high-limit slot area, with initial plans to expand the poker space into nearby retail areas.

Those expansion plans are now on hold. Caesars had intended to build out a 25-table poker area through a three-phase construction project, but that proposal has been shelved for now. Instead, the poker room is reopening with 16 tables in its former space, which many players view as more accessible and connected to the casino’s main floor.
Daily tournaments will continue to run, offering $100 buy-ins at 10:00 AM, 2:00 PM, 6:00 PM, and 9:00 PM, each featuring a $1,000 guaranteed prize pool. Players can also purchase a $50 add-on to boost their chip stacks, while Nevada locals will still enjoy free parking and $3-per-hour comps. Caesars released its updated rake structure, noting a 10% cap of $6 for $1/$3 games and a 5% cap at higher stakes.
The reopening adds momentum to Las Vegas’s poker scene, which has seen several major rooms return in 2025. Planet Hollywood and Green Valley Ranch both relaunched their poker operations earlier in the year, signaling renewed enthusiasm across the market.
For Caesars Palace, this move represents a mix of tradition and practicality — restoring a familiar setup for regulars while maintaining a steady tournament schedule. Players can once again enjoy the same classic poker experience in one of the Strip’s most recognizable casino settings.
