Summer Festival Malta poker series kicks off in a week

The upcoming tournament descends on one of the hottest poker spaces in Europe

In just a week, poker enthusiasts from all over the world will be able to gather in Malta for another thrilling live tournament. The series will span from June 27 to July 2, with daily events leading up to the grand finale on the last day of the tournament, featuring the Malta Cup’s Main Event along with other exciting competitions.

The PokerStars Live Tour descends on Malta, where 19 events have been planned for a week-long summer program. Of those, eight are qualifiers for the entire program. There are still satellite events available, granting a chance to obtain 2,200 High Roller tickets for a mere €250 during the festival’s run. Daily qualifiers, featuring multiple options, occur throughout the event, leading up to the finals on June 30, where one may secure a spot in the Malta Cup.

Online qualifiers are in for a treat this Saturday, as they will have the exclusive privilege of participating in a satellite freeroll. The reward for this exclusive competition is a regional Tour Main Event seat. It’s important to note that only those who pass the stringent qualifying criteria will be eligible to compete in the High Roller event, whose Day 1 is scheduled for Tuesday, June 27.

On the first day of the tournament, Day 1 and High Roller rounds will be played twice, with the event reaching its conclusion on Wednesday during Day 2. Four attempts are available to players to try for a seat at the Main Event, which begins next Wednesday.
