David “Chino” Rheem makes history as the first to win three different PGT series titles
David “Chino” Rheem has made PokerGO Tour history by becoming the first player ever to win three different PGT series titles. His latest victory came in the 2025 PGT Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) Series II, where he outlasted some of poker’s biggest names at the ARIA Resort’s PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas. Rheem not only took home the Main Event title but also topped the overall series leaderboard, earning nearly $800,000 across 10 events.
Rheem’s consistency throughout the series was key. He cashed seven times, reached four final tables, and capped off the run by winning the final event for $510,000. Along the way, he bested elite players like Bryce Yockey, Isaac Haxton, and Jesse Lonis. Yockey, who won two events and led the standings before the finale, ultimately finished runner-up after Rheem’s late surge sealed the championship.
By securing the PLO Series II title, Rheem earned the PGT Gold Cup and a $10,000 PGT Passport for future events. It marked his fifth PokerGO Tour title of the season and his 28th cash in 2025, more than any other player this year. His performance pushed him to second place on the overall PGT leaderboard, putting him in prime position for the $1 million PGT Championship Freeroll later this year.
Rheem’s success builds on an already impressive resume. He previously captured the PGT Mixed Games Championship twice and now adds a PLO crown to his collection. With over $18 million in live tournament earnings, he ranks among poker’s most accomplished professionals.
At the PokerGO Studio, Rheem has earned over $5.4 million in PGT winnings, reaching 37 final tables across his career. His latest triumph not only cements his reputation as one of the most versatile players on the circuit but also establishes him as a defining figure of the modern PokerGO era.
