Poker players have a reason to visit Marrakech with upcoming WSOP series

There will be 13 ring events in the series that begins January 12

The poker year has begun with one of the first events of 2024 at the Casino de Marrakech, which is hosting the WSOP International Circuit series. The festival runs from January 12-21 and features 13 ring events, including a €2,000 ($2,184) High Roller and €3,000 ($3,276) Super High Roller tournament. There will also be the much anticipated €1,500 ($1,638) WSOP Circuit Main Event, which will have live coverage at PokerNews between January 18 and 21.

The WSOP Circuit makes another trip to Marrakech after the major success at last year’s festival. The series returned in 2023 following a two-year hiatus and proceeded to smash the previous record of 625 entries by attracting a field of 1,041 players.

Silvio Domingues Costa of Portugal was the eventual winner in 2023, earning the first-place prize of €180,423 ($197,004) in addition to a WSOPC gold ring and a WSOP Global Casino Championship package that includes a ticket to play at the upcoming WSOP Tournament of Champions.

Some of the most popular WSOP and WSOP Circuit tournaments are coming back to Casino de Marrakech, with the exciting action beginning with the €450 ($491) buy-in No-Limit Hold’em Opener with the first flight starting on January 12 at 4 PM local time and two more on January 13.

The series has something for all players, including Omaha and Monster Stack tournaments and a €1,000 ($1,092) Progressive Knockout High Roller event that will surely be one of the festival’s most thrilling competitions.
