Ocala Bets is ready to become the third card room in the region
Ocala, Florida, is getting a new poker venue as the region becomes a hotbed for card games. The city is preparing for the opening of a new entertainment venue that will feature over 30 tables, including Texas Hold’em and plenty of other poker options for players of all levels.
The new Ocala Bets card room is getting closer to its grand opening later this summer at 1701 SW 60th Avenue in Ocala. Popular casino games like Ultimate Texas Hold’em, Face Up Pai Gow, 3-card poker and DJ Wild will be featured in the new full-service card room, as well as other games. The venue will also feature intertrack horseracing wagering.
Besides the 35-table card room, Ocala Bets will also house a restaurant and full-service bar, which means there’s plenty of opportunity for employment. The venue is accepting applications for kitchen staff to work in the new restaurant. The property is also looking for individuals who are interested in starting a career in the gaming industry, and casino staff and dealers of all skill levels, including novices, are encouraged to apply.
Ocala Bets will be the third card room to open in the tri-county area. The others that have already earned veteran status are Ocala Gainesville Poker & Jai Alai in Orange Lake and Oxford Downs in Summerfield. The new Ocala Bets card room will be open seven days a week, but the hours of operation for the location have yet to be released.
