The poker tournament series is adding new locations to its route
Poker enthusiasts in the Mid-Atlantic region can now enter North American Poker Tour (NAPT) events at Pennsylvania and Maryland casinos. Winners of the regional Main Events will earn a ticket to the NAPT Main Event in Las Vegas in November.
On Monday, the NAPT announced it will offer two new regional events. The first will be at Baltimore’s Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland and run from July 31 to August 4. “We are thrilled to bring the NAPT to Baltimore for the first time,” said a PokerStars spokesperson.”
Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia will host the second event from August 22 through September 8. The Cordish Companies operate both facilities. “We are committed to offering players the best possible tournament experience,” stated the PokerStars spokesperson. “These regional events are just the beginning of our plans to expand the NAPT and bring high-quality poker tournaments to players across North America.”
The addition of the new regional events in Maryland and Philadelphia was a good move for the NAPT. It allows the organization to expand into new markets and offers players a chance to attend larger events and compete with top players from all over the world.
PokerStars is also marking the return of NAPT to Las Vegas by offering players its “Path to NAPT.” It’s a complete guide for those interested in participating in the popular live poker series, which returned to the city after a 12-year hiatus.
The ten-day NAPT festival makes its return to Resorts World Las Vegas from November 1 to November 10.
