The tour will take place at the Potawatomi Casino from February 17 to 22
The Major Series of Poker is heading back to Milwaukee next week for another stop in its 17th season. The tour will take over Potawatomi Casino from February 17 to 22, marking the second Major event of the year and bringing a full slate of tournaments to Wisconsin players.
The series opens with a $400 buy-in Mini Main Event featuring a $200,000 guarantee. Players can also jump into several side events, including Pot-Limit Omaha, mixed PLO and No-Limit Hold’em, a Monster Stack, a Seniors event for those 50 and older, and a Black Chip Bounty tournament.
The highlight of the week is the $1,110 buy-in Main Event with a $1 million guaranteed prize pool. Day 1A begins at noon on Feb. 19, with two more starting flights set for the following two days. Survivors from each flight will return on Feb. 22 to compete for the title.
Milwaukee has become a key stop for the tour. This will be the first of three MSPT visits to Potawatomi in 2026, with additional $1 million events scheduled later in the spring and again in September for the Wisconsin Poker State Championship.
Last season’s events at the venue drew large fields. The October championship attracted 1,698 entries, while a January stop brought in 1,697 runners. Both tournaments produced six-figure payouts for their champions, showing the strong turnout the tour enjoys in the region.
The MSPT continues to award Gold Cards to winners of side events with buy-ins of $200 or more. These custom cards, produced with gold foil and displayed in graded cases, have become a symbol of success on the tour and add extra excitement to every stop.
