The popular show is pulling an all-nighter for poker fans
History will be made on December 1 as Hustler Casino Live hosts the first ever 24-hour poker tournament live-stream on Alan Keating’s final day after his return to the show. He hasn’t appeared on the live stream since May and will compete beginning on November 27, paying a minimum $100,000 buy-in for five days of $100/200 high-stakes poker action.
Hustler Casino Live’s co-owner Ryan Feldman says the logistics will be challenging for a 24-hour poker stream. Not only will players bust and get fatigued, but the commentators and broadcast team will have a tough time making it through the entire day.
“The plan will be to have a wait list and have players on standby ready to come in on-call between certain hours as players bust or quit,” Feldman explained. “It will be a lot of work logistically,” he said. “Ideally, players will give me a warning when they’re thinking about leaving, and I’ll have a backup ready to go.” Feldman isn’t sure if anyone will play for the entire session but thinks some players might grind it out.
This isn’t the first marathon session hosted by Hustler Casino Live but the first 24-hour session. An August 2022 show extended into Saturday morning, with Keating winning $749,000, the biggest HCL pot ever at the time. Tom Dwan holds the record, winning $3.1 million the following June.
Several other high rollers, including HCL regulars Nik Airball, Andy “Stacks” and Charles Yu, are scheduled to appear. Car dealership owner Brandon Steven, DoorDash founder Stanley Tang, and Santhosh Suvarna are also expected to play.
