The only three female players to enter the event all reached the final table
The 2026 US Poker Open Main Event concluded with a landmark performance as three female players secured seats at the final table for the first time in PokerGO Tour history. Kristen Foxen, Cherish Andrews and Ebony Kenney defied the odds in a forty-eight-entrant field for the high-stakes, twenty-five-thousand-dollar buy-in tournament.
While David Coleman eventually claimed the individual event trophy, the presence of these three women at the final table signaled a major shift in the competitive landscape. Two of them secured top-five positions in the series-long standings.
The final day of play began with intense focus on the female trio, who represented the only women to enter the competition. Ebony Kenney was the first of the group to exit, finishing in seventh place after a difficult encounter with David Coleman left her short of the win.
Cherish Andrews followed in sixth place after an ambitious bluff against Coleman backfired, ending her hopes of becoming the first woman to secure an overall series crown. Despite these exits, their deep runs ensured that women occupied unprecedented spots on the leaderboard, with both Andrews and Foxen contending for the top positions throughout the week.
Coleman maintained his dominance during the final sessions, entering the table with a chip lead and eliminating several opponents, including Darren Elias and Richard Green. It took just three hands of heads-up play for Coleman to secure the victory, ultimately using queen-eight to overcome Foxen’s pocket tens when he improved to three-of-a-kind.
While Coleman took home the $420,000 top prize, the overall series title was awarded to Brock Wilson. Wilson achieved a rare milestone by winning his second consecutive tour championship, having previously claimed the PokerGO Cup title just one month earlier.
