The poker tournament begins on August 21 and runs through September 3
The Global Poker US Poker Open returns for its third season next week, featuring over 60 events associated with the PokerGO US Poker Open (USPO) being held in Las Vegas. Global Poker’s series will run from August 21 through September 3 and gives entrants the prospect of traveling to PokerGO Studio along with some of the best players in the world of high-stakes poker.
There’s something for everyone at the social poker series, including super deep stack tournaments and bounty events with buy-ins from SC 99 to GC 99,000. The latest series comes on the heels of Global Poker’s GOAT V series that was recently concluded, with “Narcisprince79” and “Slob On Me Knob” victorious in the two main events.
There will be 64 trophy events during the Global Poker US Open, highlighted by the SC 250,000 guaranteed and GC 125,000,000 guaranteed Main Events. A total of GC 757,500,000 and SC 1,515,000 guaranteed prize pools will be awarded during the series.
GC and SC player leaderboards will also be featured in the series, with the overall GC Leaderboard Champion winning a GP X USPO Champion hoodie, Global Poker X USPO apparel, five free entries for the Global Poker Scrimmage Tournament, and the Golden Crown Trophy.
The SC leaderboard winner receives a trip to Las Vegas worth $5,000, where they’ll receive another $5,000 check plus additional prizes while at the PokerGO Studio.
Besides 64 trophy events, the Global Poker USPO will offer numerous satellite tournaments daily, with buy-ins starting at SC 5.5 to enter the SC 33 tournaments and SC 16.5 for the SC 99 tournaments. Players should also watch for various reward drops to be used as entries into the SC 5.5 and SC 16.5 satellites.
