The ongoing poker festival is proving to be a hit with players
Lots of exciting holiday poker action is taking place on Global Poker as it approaches the end of its 25 Days of Poker. It runs during December with prizes, including official merchandise such as Global Poker sweaters and Global Poker mittens.
Wrapping up on December 31, the series features daily spins and freerolls and was highlighted by two Home For the Holidays Main Events on December 26 with guaranteed prizes of 40,000,000 Gold Coins and 250,000 Sweeps Coins. The top 200 finishers in the GC Main Event also received Global Poker beanies.
The Home For The Holidays Main Event GC 40,000,000 Guaranteed [1R1A] attracted 446 entrants, with GC 13,894,335 going to the winner, “Smart,” who beat runner-up “ErrantPath” (GC 10,208,835) heads up at the final table which included “Fesuoy” (3rd for GC 7,518,420), “MasterRich” (5th for GC 3,980,340) and “SomeDumbFish” (9th for GC 1,164,618).
The Sweeps Coin Main Event went beyond the guarantee, drawing 2,150 players, with “Troopaloop10” taking the win and the SC 51,534.45 top prize after beating runner-up “Poker_aresenist,” who secured SC 38,707.38 for second place.
The final table also included “Bonobinho” (9th for SC 3,101.76), “Flush634” (6th for SC 11,146.95), and “JEOCD” (3rd for SC 27,463.50).
More highlights are still to come from the Global Poker 25 Days of Poker series, including the Mrs. Frosty GC 10,000,000 Freeroll event on December 29 and two New Year’s Eve Freerolls with prize guarantees of GC 2,024,000 and SC 2,024.
