Monday’s episode included the “worst fold in the history of the show”
Monday night’s Episode 4 in Season 11 of PokerGo’s High Stakes Poker featured top pros Rob Yong, Andrew Robl, Ferdinand Putra, Charles Yu, Rick Salomon, and Jean-Robert Bellande (JRB). Players wasted no time getting their chips in the middle, as the first hand of the session saw Salomon take a $280,000 pot from Yu after hitting a full house on the river.
Later during the session, Robl raised to $ 6,000 under the gun with his AD, 7D, with Salomon three-betting to $26,000 with his ace-king. Robl would call after the blinds folded. The flop revealed 4D, JD, KS, with Robl checking as Salomon bet $20,000. Robl raised to $80,000 as Salomon called to see the 5H on the turn. Salomon then snap-called Robl’s $130,000 bet, with the QD landing on the river to give Robl the nut flush.
In the night’s most surprising hand, Salomon raised to $15,000 with his 4H, 2S, with JRB placing a three-bet of $50,000 from the small blind with his QH, QC to lower his stack to $315,000. The big blind and straddle folded as Salomon four-bet to go all in. JRB then called Salomon a “big bully” before folding and adding, “I had a big hand.” Salomon then revealed his four-deuce to the surprise of the other players and later said JRB’s move was “easily the worst fold in the history of the show.”
The episode ended with Bellande going all-in for $406,000 against Yong, who folded to give Bellande a $655,000 pot in the final hand of the night. Episode 5 of PokerGo will be broadcast on September 4 at 5 p.m. Pacific time.
