Phil Hellmuth is now the face of the iGaming platform
Phil Hellmuth, one of the most celebrated players in poker history, has officially joined BetRivers as a brand ambassador. The 17-time World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner had already been seen promoting the brand in recent tournaments, but the partnership has now been confirmed, adding significant star power to BetRivers’ growing presence in the gaming industry.
BetRivers Poker, the latest online poker platform in Pennsylvania, operates under Rush Street Interactive (RSI), a gaming company with a strong presence through its Rivers Casinos and online offerings. Hellmuth’s role will extend beyond poker, encompassing duties as a content partner for RSI’s portfolio, which includes online poker, casino games, sports betting, and the popular Poker Night in America series.
As part of his ambassador duties, Hellmuth will host tournaments on the BetRivers Poker platform, make appearances at land-based Rivers Casinos, provide sports betting insights, and feature on Poker Night in America. He previously made a mark on the show, winning the “King of the Hill” heads-up tournament in 2017, showcasing his enduring skill and charisma.
Hellmuth’s enthusiasm for the partnership is evident. He highlighted his admiration for RSI’s commitment to delivering quality gaming experiences, expressing excitement about sharing his passion for poker and entertainment with BetRivers’ players. His first scheduled event with the brand includes attending the Super Bowl in New Orleans alongside BetRivers VIP guests.
Joining Hellmuth in representing the brand is Phil Galfond, another poker icon who partnered with RSI after selling his Run It Once poker platform in 2022. Together, the two legends bring credibility and excitement to BetRivers as it seeks to establish itself as a major player in the online poker and gaming industry.
