The series will include $545,000 in guaranteed cash for the finalists
BetRivers is gearing up to launch its 2025 Poker Championship, an online series scheduled to run from September 21 through October 5. The festival will span two weeks of competition, offering more than $545,000 in guaranteed prize pools across a diverse lineup of tournaments designed to appeal to players of all levels.
The series will feature 112 total events split into Gold and Silver tiers, with buy-ins ranging from as little as $2 up to $500. This broad structure gives recreational players and seasoned grinders alike the chance to participate.
Formats on the schedule include progressive knockouts (PKOs), Pot-Limit Omaha, 6-Max, Monsterstacks, Deepstacks, and other specialty tournaments. BetRivers has emphasized that the series will include industry-leading rakeback and maintain the lowest rake structure available, giving added value to players.
In total, 34 trophies will be awarded during the Championship—32 coming from nightly marquee events and two reserved for leaderboard champions. Each night will see paired Gold and Silver tournaments, giving players multiple chances to capture hardware.
Sundays will serve as the cornerstone of the schedule. Opening Sunday, September 21, features a $300 High Roller with a $20,000 guarantee alongside a $30 Mini High Roller with a $5,000 prize pool. The following weekend, September 28, highlights a High Roller PKO for $300 with $20,000 guaranteed and a $30 Mini PKO with $5,000 guaranteed.
The action culminates on October 5 with the $200 Main Event offering $40,000 guaranteed, the $20 Mini Main Event with $6,000 guaranteed, and a $500 Super High Roller featuring a $20,000 guarantee.
Beyond the tournaments, players can earn seats into Encore Freerolls by entering multiple events, unlocking up to $12,000 in added prizes. Leaderboards for both Gold and Silver tiers provide additional rewards, with packages that include tournament tickets and payouts to the top finishers.
