The ceremony includes a Texas Hold’em tourney to raise more funds for the organization
The Charity Series of Poker (CSOP) was founded by Matt Stout in 2014 and begins its 11th season by once again honoring the players, sponsors and staff that have helped make it a success over the years.
The 2023 CSOP Awards will celebrate several categories, such as Event of the Year, Emcee of the Year, Sponsor of the Year, Daniel Negreanu Extra Effort Award and the Mike Sexton Ambassador Award, among others.
The CSOP Awards Dinner and Tournament is the CSOP’s 57th event and will be held at the Via Brazil Steakhouse in Las Vegas on Tuesday, January 16. Anyone planning to attend can buy tickets for dinner, a silent auction and play poker for $300. Guests can purchase tickets for just dinner and the auction for $150.
The poker tournament will offer $100 rebuys, add-ons and bounty prizes at the final table, where the winner will earn $5,000. The awards ceremony will begin with dinner at 5:30 PM local time, with the charity poker tournament to follow at 7 PM.
The next CSOP event will be on January 20 at the “Save the Date” for Beating The Odds to benefit St. Jude from the Borgata Hotel Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Tickets can be purchased for $225 to attend the cocktail hour and silent auction, and for $100, fans can gain entry to the event without a seat to the poker tournament. Rebuys are available for $225, with half of the prize pool going to charity and the rest paid out in tournament prizes. The player with the chip lead at the end of registration, and the player with the most re-entries will win extra bonuses.
The event begins at 6:30 PM local time, with the tournament scheduled for 8 PM.
