Spanish poker pro Leonore “Leo” Margets has her seat locked in as the final run begins
The 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event final table is officially set, with nine players returning to the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas on July 15 to compete for the $10 million top prize. Out of a field of 9,735 entries—the third-largest in WSOP history—this year’s final table brings together a mix of seasoned professionals and breakout contenders.
Leading the pack is John Wasnock from North Bend, Washington, who enters with 108.1 million chips. The 50-year-old already has his biggest career score locked up, far exceeding his previous best of $56,000 in live winnings.
Right behind him is seven-time bracelet winner Michael Mizrachi, holding 93 million chips. Mizrachi’s storied resume includes four Poker Players Championship titles, but a Main Event win would be the crowning achievement of his already prolific poker career.
Texas native Braxton Dunaway, a former Monster Stack champion, sits third with 91.9 million chips. He’s followed by Kenny Hallaert, the Belgian pro with multiple European titles and $5.9 million in lifetime earnings, who returns to the final table with 80.5 million.
A historic moment comes with the presence of Leonore “Leo” Margets, the first female player in 30 years to reach the WSOP Main Event final table. Margets, a poker pro from Spain, broke through the massive field and currently ranks fifth in chips with 53.4 million. Her performance adds a major milestone to the 2025 series, as she looks to become the first woman ever to win the Main Event.
The rest of the table includes Serbia’s Luka Bojovic (51 million), Adam Hendrix from Virginia (48 million), Daehyung Lee of South Korea (34.9 million), and Jarod Minghini from Nevada (23.6 million).
Play resumes today, continuing until four players remain. The winner will be crowned the following day, ending what’s shaping up to be one of the most compelling WSOP finales in years.
