Sunday Recap: History is made in the $50 Million GTD OSS XL

We had the second-to-last weekend of the $50 Million OSS XL and the action at the tables reached a fever pitch, including hosting the biggest PLO tourney in our history.

We also had Day 1A of two $2,500,000 guaranteed tourneys. The $2,650 buy-in had 507 entries, putting $1,267,500 towards the final prize pool. The $1,050 buy-in had 1,094 entries, with $1,094,000 going to that final prize pool. The final Day 1B of both high roller events comes this Sunday, October 1st.

OSS #356 – $500,000 GTD PLO 6-Max
We had the biggest PLO event in our history yesterday with the $500,000 GTD PLO 6-Max. We ended up smashing the guarantee as there were 271 entrants who paid the $2,650 buy-in. That resulted in a whopping $677,500 prize pool. Here’s the top three:

OSS #348– $1 Million GTD Sunday High Roller
Our Sunday High Roller had a $1,000,000 guarantee once again yesterday as part of the OSS XL. There were 1,809 total entrants and a final prize pool of $1,085,400. 227 players won cash in this $630 buy-in tourney. The top 3:

OSS #344 – $300,000 GTD The Euro Special
European players and others were loving the OSS #344 – $300,000 GTD The Euro Special ($215 buy-in). It had 1,444 players, which meant there was a small overlay of $11,200. In total, 175 players pocketed cash. The top 3:

$400,000 GTD Warm Up
Our Warm Up tourney got bumped up to a special $400,000 guarantee yesterday. And with 3,896 total entries, we fell just $10,400 short in this affordable $109 buy-in event. Congrats to the 486 players who cashed. The top 3:

$200,000 GTD Sunday Special
With 1,133 total entries, the Sunday Special easily beats its $200,000 guarantee. 136 players got paid in this $215 buy-in event, which had a final prize pool of $226,600. Here’s a look at the top three:
