Sunday Recap: Dual Venoms exceed their guarantees on Day 1E

Yesterday was the final Day 1 option for our Dual Mystery Bounty Venom tournaments and both events topped their guarantees. Players also logged on in droves for our Venom Specials as well as our signature tourneys.

Dual Mystery Bounty Venom tourneys

As we mentioned, both of our Mystery Bounty Venom tournaments beat their guarantees. The $8 Million GTD NLH has a total prize pool of $8,797,500 including $4,398,750 in bounties. Our $2 Million GTD PLO has a total prize pool of $2,180,000 including $1,090,000 in bounties. The action resumes today with Day 2 and the final tables get underway at 4:05pm ET tomorrow (Tuesday).

$150,000 GTD Sunday Special

With 832 total entries, Sunday’s $150K unlimited re-entry tourney was slightly more special than we anticipated. 110 players got paid in this $215 buy-in event, which had a final prize pool of $166,400. The top three after a two-way final table deal:

Venom Special The Sunday Moneymaker $400,000 GTD

4,427 entrants took part in our affordable $400K tournament, which is named after ACR Pro Chris Moneymaker. At the end of late registration, the prize pool hit $442,700 in this $109 buy-in event. 538 players cashed. Here’s the top three after a three-way final table:

Venom Special Sunday HR $750,000 GTD

There were 1,539 entries who competed in Sunday’s $750K GTD Venom Special Sunday HR. The solid turnout in this $630 buy-in tourney led to a massive $923,400 prize pool. Congrats to the 188 players who cashed, including the top three. Here’s how it looked after a two-way final table deal:

Venom Special PKO $300,000 GTD

Our $300K Venom Special PKO tourney had a $215 buy-in and featured 1,579 entrants for a final prize pool of $315,800. Players battled for $157,900 in both regular prize money and bounties. 201 players cashed and even more walked away with bounties. The top three:

Venom Special Sunday $200,000 GTD

Thanks to 1,351 entries, Sunday’s $200K GTD Venom Special Sunday ($215 buy-in) had a final prize pool of $270,200. Congrats to the 162 players who were in the money, especially the top 3. Here are the results after a two-way final table deal:
