Our latest software update lets you use the old tournament info box if you prefer

We just rolled out our latest software update and it’s filled with great features, tweaks, and security enhancements that will improve your poker experience.  While there’s lots to love about our latest update, we’re most excited about giving you the option to use the old tournament information box.

If the small external tournament information box, which we introduced in our previous software update, doesn’t suit your style, don’t worry.  You can now maximize the box to view a large external tournament information box if you prefer.  We’ve listened to your feedback and we’re happy to give you a choice, since everyone has different tastes.  Either way, you can see this feature in action here.

Our update also includes an important security enhancement. For the safety of the community, we no longer allow our poker client to be run through a virtual machine. This is part of our commitment to offer big poker with big security.  If you currently use a virtual machine to access ACR Poker, visit the download page to install the PC or Mac version of the poker client on your device.

While Chris Moneymaker might be our best known ACR Pro, he’s just one member of our diverse and talented team.  Now, when you launch our software, you’ll be greeted by other pros including Ebony Kenny and Katie Lindsay. Fire up the poker client now and get acquainted with our team.

Finally, we’re excited to announce that we’re adding a live table to the tournament window so you can keep track of the action at other tables without actually having those tables open.  You can access this feature in the tournament lobby under players and tables.  Simply choose a table, and you’ll be able to keep track of the dealer button, small blind, big blind, stacks and action.  Check out how the live table feature works by clicking here.
