BADGERING leads the first Sunday scores as 336 events and $50M+ in guarantees settle in for the rest of September.

OSS XL officially hit the tables on Sunday, Sept. 6. Apparently the XL button works.

The opening day produced a $130,209.51 winner, a $670,800 High Roller prize pool, thousands of entries at the lower buy-ins and enough Mystery Bounty and PLO action to make choosing one game feel unnecessarily restrictive. And that was Day 1.

BADGERING Sets the First Big Number

The largest score in the highlighted opening-day results belonged to BADGERING, who won OSS XL #13. The $630 total buy-in High Roller carried a $600,000 guarantee, drew 1,118 entries and finished with $670,800 in the prize pool. First place was worth $130,209.51.

The $2,650 OSS XL #16 also moved past its guarantee. A field of 203 entries built a $507,500 prize pool against $500,000 GTD. A final-table deal was made, with NewYorkMidgets finishing first for $95,311.68, KevinParCoeur taking $93,874.52 and Olivander1 collecting $87,459.25.

Big Fields Did Not Need Big Buy-Ins

The $109 Moneymaker drew 3,373 entries and finished with WilliamRed on top for $62,933.20. A few steps down the buy-in ladder, the $16.50 Sunday Splash pulled in 4,752 entries and paid lukewarmwater $10,952.96 for first.

Those three names also featured in the opening-day winners graphic. The graphic rounds the scores to the nearest dollar; the lobby results put the exact payouts at $130,209.51 for BADGERING, $62,933.20 for WilliamRed and $10,952.96 for lukewarmwater.

Bounties, PLO and More Ways to Make a Mess of Sunday Plans

COTTAGECORE won the $100,000 GTD 6-Max Mystery Bounty and collected $11,769.70 in regular prize money plus $20,500 in bounties, a combined $32,269.70.

Over in the $50,000 GTD PLO 6-Max PKO, peyton_manning finished first for $5,391.50 in regular prize money and $11,287.50 in bounties. That made the total $16,679.00 from a $630 buy-in. Four cards. Two payout columns. One very decent Sunday.

Across the six highlighted tournaments from the opening slate, the numbers add up to $1,803,300 in prize pools and 9,689 entries. That is not the full day, just a useful snapshot of what arrived when the series opened.

And We Are Still in the First Week

OSS XL runs from Sept. 6-29 with 336 events and more than $50 million in guarantees. Three Main Events account for $5 million combined GTD, led by the $2.5 million GTD $2,650 Main Event and the $2 million GTD $1,050 Main Event. Both begin their Day 1 schedules on Sept. 20. A $66 Main Event with $500,000 GTD starts Sept. 13.

Four major multi-flights are already running and combine for $2.225 million guaranteed. Then Sept. 21-28 brings 10 Nosebleed Stakes tournaments with buy-ins from $5,000 to $25,000. Because at some point “XL” apparently became a dare.

There is also more than $60,000 in added cash and tournament tickets in the OSS XL leaderboard competition, plus OSS XL tickets being awarded through The Beast.

Two Big September Runs at the Same Time

OSS XL is not the only major tournament on the calendar. The $2.5 million GTD 25th Anniversary Tournament is running alongside it with a $250 buy-in and a cumulative-stack format. The current schedule has 41 Day 1 flights, Day 2 on Sept. 28 and the final table on Sept. 29.

The OSS XL reload offer is also still live through Sept. 10. Reload $25 or more with code HUGE and get a 50% Reload Bonus up to $500, with the bonus released through real-money play under the promotion terms.

Day 1 is done. The full OSS XL schedule has everything still to come through Sept. 29.
