ACR Poker Opens October With $6.5M Dual Venom PKOs and $25K Ladies Championship

Sunday, October 4 brings the first flights of two major bounty tournaments, plus a ladies-only championship with a trophy and two satellite options.

October is underway, and ACR Poker is getting straight to the big Sunday action. The Dual Venom PKOs begin October 4 with $6.5 million guaranteed across separate No-Limit Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha tournaments.

Both events open with Day 1A at 1:05 p.m. ET, giving players their first chance to collect bounties and build a stack for Day 2. Each costs $2,650 to enter directly, with five starting flights available through October 18.

The larger of the two is the $5 million GTD NLH PKO. Omaha players have a $1.5 million GTD PLO PKO, which ties the biggest PLO PKO guarantee in ACR Poker history.

An hour after those opening flights begin, the Ladies Online Championship starts at 2:05 p.m. ET. The ladies-only event has a $215 buy-in, $25,000 guaranteed and a trophy waiting for the winner.

Players looking to qualify for less have options for both Sunday highlights. Venom Fever offers Direct Satellites, Mega Satellites and Survivor Flips Step Satellites, while two Sunday qualifiers feed the Ladies Online Championship.

That makes October 4 worth planning from the morning onward. Ladies satellites begin before either Venom flight gets underway, and the afternoon brings a choice of two bounty events alongside the championship.

Two Venoms with bounties worth chasing

The appeal of a Progressive Knockout event starts well before the final table. Eliminating opponents can put bounty money in your pocket while you continue competing for tournament prize money. A deep run gives you more than one way to get paid.

In the NLH Venom, individual bounties can reach tens of thousands of dollars. Last year’s champion collected more than $675,000 in combined prize money and bounties, showing just how much can be at stake late in the tournament.

The PLO event brings the same knockout format to a four-card game, with its own $1.5 million guarantee. Players can enter either Venom or take on both; the two events share the same Day 1 schedule and direct buy-in.

Five flights to find your way to Day 2

Sunday is the opening opportunity. Four more starting flights follow over the next two weeks, so players who cannot make October 4 still have time to enter.

• Day 1A: Sunday, October 4
• Day 1B: Thursday, October 8
• Day 1C: Sunday, October 11
• Day 1D: Thursday, October 15
• Day 1E: Sunday, October 18

Every Day 1 begins at 1:05 p.m. ET. Players who advance return for Day 2 on Monday, October 19, also at 1:05 p.m. ET. NLH continues with Day 3 on Tuesday, October 20; PLO has no Day 3. The final tables are scheduled for Wednesday, October 21 at 4:05 p.m. ET.

A Venom seat can start with a smaller buy-in

Venom Fever is underway and runs through October 18, with hundreds of seats available through Direct Satellites and Mega Satellites. Mega Satellite paths start at $0, while Survivor Flips Step Satellites begin at $0.80.

Those starting prices offer a route toward the $2,650 entry, rather than a direct entry at that price. Players can choose a qualification path or buy straight into their preferred Venom flight.

A Sunday championship for the ladies

The Ladies Online Championship gives eligible players a separate title to chase on October 4. Play begins at 2:05 p.m. ET, with a $215 buy-in and $25,000 guaranteed. The winner also receives the Ladies Online Championship trophy.

Two satellites run earlier that Sunday. The $22 Turbo at 11:05 a.m. ET guarantees 10 seats, followed by the $21 Hyper at 12:30 p.m. ET with five seats guaranteed. Together, they offer 15 guaranteed places in the championship.

The event’s eligibility rule is clear: only verified female accounts are eligible to receive prize money. If an ineligible account finishes in the money, the corresponding rewards will be removed after the tournament is completed.
