The first weekend of October was packed with major tournaments, big prize pools, and plenty of intense competition. Players turned up in force to battle for their share of huge payouts and bragging rights.

Sunday Special – $150,000 GTD

The Sunday Special once again lived up to its name with another action-packed edition this weekend. The $215-buy-in event drew 806 entries, building a $161,200 prize pool and surpassing its $150K guarantee. In all, 97 players cashed. And after a two-way final table deal, here’s how the top three finished:

Phil’s Thrill

Sunday’s Phil’s Thrill drew 69 entries, creating a $690,000 prize pool for our weekly $10,300 buy-in event. Named for our CEO Phil Nagy, this high-stakes event continues to draw many of the game’s toughest regulars—and Phil even jumped into the mix himself, finishing 37th this week. Congratulations to yesterday’s top three:

Mini Phil’s Thrill – $200,000 GTD

The debut of Mini Phil’s Thrill did not disappoint. This new $2,650-buy-in event—the smaller sibling to our flagship Phil’s Thrill—made a strong first impression, drawing 116 entries and building a $290,000 prize pool. And of course, Phil Nagy wasn’t about to miss the debut, jumping into the action and finishing 30th. Congratulations to our top three finishers:

Sunday High Roller – $500,000 GTD

The Sunday High Roller once again delivered big-time action, drawing 890 entries for a $630 buy-in and pushing the prize pool to $534,000—well past its $500K guarantee. A total of 110 players cashed in one of the weekend’s most competitive events. Congratulations to the top three finishers:

The Sunday Moneymaker – $300,000 GTD

The Sunday Moneymaker once again lived up to its name, delivering big value and high drama at the tables. This $109-buy-in event, named after ACR Pro Chris Moneymaker, drew 3,190 entries and smashed its $300K guarantee with a $319,000 prize pool. A total of 408 players cashed in the weekly classic. Here’s how the top three finished:

The Sunday Banana – $300,000 GTD

The Sunday Banana brought plenty of peel-good action this weekend, as the $1,050-buy-in event smashed its $300K guarantee. With 351 entries, the prize pool climbed to a hefty $351,000, and a total of 43 players cashed in this thrilling 8-Max battle. When the final cards were dealt, here’s how the top three finished:
