Like a heavyweight match for the ages, our $5 Million GTD Venom PKO blew past our expectations and delivered an adrenaline-spiked spectacle. With 2,449 entries stepping into the poker ring across four Day 1s, the chips were flying and the purse kept growing.
Packing a real punch, the final prize pool ultimately bulged to a jaw-dropping $6,122,500. That knockout figure landed an impressive 22.4% above the guarantee! And don’t forget that number includes a whopping $3,061,250 worth of bounties.
As far as the Final Table went, sitdownbehumble and FLMonkey were the last two players standing roughly five hours into play on Wednesday evening. Yet it wasn’t particularly close, with sitdownbehumble holding roughly 2.75 times as many chips as FLMonkey.
Despite FLMonkey’s best efforts, sitdownbehumble was always a few branches ahead. Going into what proved to be the final heads-up battle, sitdownbehumble had a humbling 126.71 to 20.22 BB lead. Yet that didn’t stop FLMonkey from going all-in pre-flop with A8. After sitdownbehumble called holding suited QK and an 8-5-J flop appeared on the board, things actually looked promising for FLMonkey.
Yet that 76.9% chance of victory faded in a matter of seconds with a Q on the turn. And, in the end, the 10 on the river helped sitdownbehumble deliver the knockout blow that sent FLMonkey permanently packing.

Congrats to sitdownbehumble on humbling the field and winning $370,951 plus $312,348 in bounties!
