Who needs the Mega Millions or Powerball lotteries? The $10 Million Venom at ACR Poker played out last night in exciting fashion with two players winning over $1 Million and changing their lives in the process.
The Venom prize pool matched the guarantee at $10 Million after players battled in the five Day 1’s over the past couple weeks. After Day 2 this past Monday and Day 3 on Tuesday, eight players sat down at the Final Table yesterday at 4:05pm ET and the action didn’t disappoint.
The Final Table once again showed the growing worldwide presence on our site. There were four players from the U.S. and four from the rest of the world. One of the combatants was our very own ACR Pro, Jon Van Fleet (Apestyles) who ended up finishing in 6th place for $326,370.
The Final Table moved along quickly until it was a heads-up battle between S3L3NAGOM3ZZ and Ketzerfelipe, with the former having over a 3:1 chip lead. From there it took 37 minutes for S3L3NAGOM3ZZ to become champion, winning $1,577,970. Ketzerfelipe still had a massive payday at $1,149,260.
