It’s been quite a few weeks here at Americas Cardroom. From leaderboard contests, to 6-figure Mystery Bounties, to our biggest PLO tournament to date, this was one for the record books!
Let’s have a look at all the firsts and the life-changing scores that came with this 4-week tournament extravaganza.
Just how big was it?
The XL size wasn’t just a marketing slogan. It was our biggest by far. If you look at just how big it was compared to our last one, you’ll see what we mean.
LAST ONE | THIS ONE |
---|---|
OSS, May 2023 | OSS XL, Oct 2023 |
Total Guaranteed Prize Pools: $38,731,000 | Total Guaranteed Prize Pools: $51,561,050 |
Total Prize Pools Awarded: $47,126,301 | Total Prize Pools Awarded: $60,789,185 |
We’re Going Global: ACR Poker welcomes more countries than any other poker site in the world, and you can tell by the 119 countries that participated in this year’s OSS XL. Here’s who showed up from around the globe.

The biggest of scores. This OSS XL had not one but two Main Events. Here’s a look at who took down the two 1st-place prizes for some serious cash:
Tourney | Prize Pool | Winner | Prize |
---|---|---|---|
OSS #350 | $2,865,000 | donkeyPROZ | $447,338 |
OSS #351 | $2,627,000 | FDvinyantin | $427,020 |
Speaking of insanely big scores. We ran our two biggest Mystery Bounty tournaments this series and our top two bounties were $200k (won by Ketapan who took out player DalaDula), and $100k (won by RickVaughn who took out TruePro).
Another first…for Omaha! We decided to hit a home run for our PLO players as we hosted our biggest guaranteed PLO Event ever during this OSS XL. Our $2,650 Buy-in OSS XL PLO Event #356 smashed the $500k guarantee with a remarkable $677,500 total prize pool. For those of you who love this 4-card variation, we’ve heard you loud and clear. Expect bigger and better PLO Events in the future.
All about climbing them ladders. This is the very first OSS XL where we offered 4 cash leaderboards (completely on us), in which players could compete for a share of cash prizes or tournament tickets.
Here’s a look at the top player for each of the leaderboards. A special shout-out to Rick Vaughn, who pretty much crushed everything on site to take down the top prize of $15k.
Leaderboard | Winner | Points | Prize |
---|---|---|---|
OVERALL LEADERBOARD WINNER | RICKVAUGHN | 7,705 Points | $15,000 Prize |
High Stakes | EDSHEERAN | 6,615 Points | $10,000 Prize |
Mid Stakes | JEWBOY888 | 3,854 Points | $5,000 Prize |
Low Stakes | FRAGRANCEGUY | 1,602 Points | $2,500 Prize |
