In case you need a refresher, our Daily Double promo features two sets of Multi-Table Tournaments every day that each start 30 minutes apart. The first set is named after ACR Pro Michael Loncar and the second set is named after ACR Pro Jeff Boski. When a player wins both Loncar tourneys or both Boski tourneys on the same day, they’ll hit the jackpot.
At 6:15pm ET on Friday, July 14th, arkuuun entered the first $88 buy-in $30,000 GTD Loncar Daily Double tournament. After besting the field of 382 entries, arkuuun walked away with the $5,824.83 first place prize.
Then 30 minutes later, arkuuun started playing in the second $88 buy-in $30,000 GTD Loncar Daily Double tournament. When it was all said and done, arkuuun conquered the 404-strong-entry event to win another $6,160.31.
While the $11,985 in combined first place winnings is impressive, they represent just a fraction of arkuuun’s Daily Double earnings. With $31,742 in jackpot winnings, this lucky player scored $43,727 total. Not bad for an evening’s work.
Remember that the Loncar Daily Double jackpot is always a minimum of $20,000 and it keeps growing until a savvy player hits it. And if those $88 buy-ins are too steep, why not try the Boski Daily Double tournaments? The buy-ins are just $11 and the jackpot is a minimum of $5,000.
Of course, each Daily Double tourney pays out 98.5% of the prize pool with the rest going to the growing jackpot. And don’t forget that if you reach the final table of both Loncar Daily Double tourneys on the same day, you’ll win 15% of the jackpot on top of your winnings.
