Two of our beloved ACR Pros are on their way across the pond to compete in the Triton Poker Series after coming out on top of the Pros competition of our most recent High Stakes Adventure: London.
Jon Pardy won his $110,000 prize package in an exclusive contest for the ACR Pros while staying at the Punters’ Pad in Vegas. Meanwhile, Drew Gonzalez won his package playing in as many $500+ buy-in tourneys as he could handle and racking up the best 5 scores among his fellow pros.
We got a chance to catch up with both players before they set out to play against the who’s who of poker in the highest buy-in tournaments the world has to offer.
Jon Pardy
I won the Triton Package through ACR’s summer show “The Punters Pad.” I competed against 4 other ACR Team Pros to see who won the most (or, in this case, lost the least) over the WSOP, and luckily, I came out on top!
I grinded so hard this summer and really tried to stay dialed in every time I sat at the table. I felt it was some of the best poker I have played, and I ran really well too. Once getting the news that I had officially won, I was so excited, ha. It was the middle of the Main Event Day 3, and when I got the news, I jumped out of my seat and yelled so hard at the camera guy who was around my table, ha-ha. It was such a great moment. I’m so excited and grateful for this opportunity. When I started playing poker 4-5 years ago, I legit couldn’t imagine playing $1,000 tournaments, let alone a Triton high roller series … Again, I am so grateful for this opportunity and ACR.
I’m so excited to just soak it all in. So many times, I’ll be so focused on certain things that I end up not really being present and enjoying the experience. I am just going to have fun, make some cool content and hopefully LUCKBOX a high roller … or two, ha.
Drew Gonzalez
It’s insane for me to think about this … I’m sitting in an airport right now on my way to London, sipping on a martini, about to play some of the highest stakes the poker world has to offer.
I’ve got a $110,000 bankroll to use at the Triton Poker High Roller Series … but how did I get it?
The short answer is that I won a competition amongst all the ACR Team Pros.
After a long and tiring approximately 2 months in Vegas of non-stop grinding live tournaments, I was so excited to finally find out I had edged out the Terminator, aka Jeff Boski, to win the competition. All my blood, sweat, tears, and sacrifices paid off.
Honestly, the moment I knew I won, it didn’t really hit me. I was mostly relieved I could relax now that the comp was over! I was kind of “dead” emotionally at the time because I was just in a hyper-performance mode, and I was definitely tuned out in a lot of ways and just focused on grinding. It’s an interesting mode to be in, and one I haven’t been in, at least not in this capacity.
I’m feeling super confident at this moment and ready to play live poker again after a short break. I’ve got a ton of momentum after all the runs I had in Vegas, and I feel like I’m playing near the top of my game.

I’m looking forward to sharing my 1st time visiting London, playing Triton, and hopefully winning some life-changing money!
