The end-of-year poker calendar continues to fill up with big events
The World Poker Tour (WPT) returns to bestbet Jacksonville for the WPT bestbet Scramble main event, running from November 10-14. Players will pay a $5,000 buy-in to enter the No-Limit Hold’em event and start with 50,000 in chips. Starting flights are available for the tournament’s first two days, with a guaranteed $1 million prize pool.
Besides the main event, many other tournaments are on the series schedule beginning on October 26. Several bounty tournaments are also available on the slate, which has recently become more popular on the pro poker circuit because of event sponsors like bestbet Jacksonville.
A $400 buy-in bounty tournament is included in the preliminary lineup on the series’ first weekend, scheduled for October 29, with a second $400 bounty event following on November 1.
Three starting flights are scheduled for the $1,700 buy-in mystery bounty that begins on November 2, and a WPT celebrity bounty tournament with a $300 buy-in is set for the eve of the main event on November 8. The final big bounty event is the $2,100 buy-in six-max knockout event leading up to the WPT main event starting November 9.
The first event of the bestbet Scramble series is the $200,000 guaranteed $400 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em tournament that kicks things off on October 26. There will be six starting flights at noon and 6 PM for the tournament’s first three days. Other featured events are the $300 buy-in Big O eight-or-better event and the $400 buy-in ladies’ event on November 7.
