Mikita Badziakouski to play in the $1M WPT Big One for One Drop

The field for the upcoming high-roller event continues to take shape

The field of pros competing at the $1,000,000 buy-in WPT The Big One for One Drop increased this past weekend as Belarusian high-roller Mikita Badziakouski has announced he’ll be traveling to Las Vegas in December to compete at the tournament.

“I’m always looking to compete at the highest level, and playing in the million-dollar buy-in Big One for One Drop is another great opportunity to do just that,” said Badziakouski to “It also feels good to know that a piece of the buy-in goes a long way in supporting a very worthy cause in One Drop.”

Badziakouski joins other top pros, such as WPT Ambassador Phil Ivey, Nick Petrangelo, Daniel ‘Jungleman’ Cates, Chris Brewer and less-seasoned players like Talal Shakerchi, David Einhorn and Rick Salomon, who has three cashes in the last four Big One for One Drop events.

Badziakouski hopes to continue his success in 2023, where he has over $5.2 million in live tournament cashes, including three of more than seven figures that all came within a month. He has career live tournament earnings of over $43.5 million, according to Hendon Mob, putting him within the Top 10 on the poker All-Time Money List ahead of legend Phil Ivey, who fell to 11th place.

The WPT Big One for One Drop will be taking place during the WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas festival in December. Fans can catch the action from the final table, which will be live-streamed as part of two weeks of action on all WPT channels starting December 20.
