Israeli poker pro Ori Hasson ships the Wynn Summer Classic’s Mystery Bounty event
Most of the poker action might be in the World Series of Poker right now, but it isn’t the only tournament running. Israeli pro Ori Hasson emerged victorious, claiming $460,570 and $369,500 in bounties in an outstanding performance to clinch the title at the Wynn Summer Classic’s Mystery Bounty event. The $830,070 he picked up boosted his career earnings to over $1.8 million.
A total of 2,598 players paid the $2,200 buy-in at the No-Limit Hold ’em event, which featured four starting flights. The tournament’s Mystery Bounty format has been gaining popularity recently, with the added prizes increasing the total prize pool to $5,196,000.

Hasson is no stranger to the high-stakes tournament scene but was amazed by the size of his victory at the Wynn Summer Classic. He knew he would face intense competition as he battled some of the most prominent figures in the poker world, all determined to claim a share of the massive prize pool. However, with his exceptional abilities and unwavering concentration, Hasson was able to outsmart his rivals and come away with the title.
Many well-known players were among the 322 finishers to take home at least a $3,051 payday, including Landon Tice (278th), Jamie Kerstetter (183rd), Loni Hui (176th), Kevin MacPhee (137th), Luke Vrabel (107th), Tony Sinishtaj (89th), and Aaron Pinson (13th).
Six players at the final table secured six-figure payments, including Grant Gardner (6th for $125,770), Jaerth East (5th for $160,840), Corey Zarnoch (4th for $210,464), and Giovanni Zanette (3rd for $268,822).
Frenchman Damien Gayer earned his biggest career cash of $423,536 as runner-up, increasing his career tournament earnings to nearly $500,000.
The Wynn Summer Classic continues through July 18, highlighted by the $10,400 buy-in Championship Event, which runs from June 28 to July 3.
