PokerGO adds changes to upcoming tournament

The series starts this October, with plenty of opportunities to win big prizes

Several upcoming PokerGo Tour (PGT) events have been updated for the second half of the 2023 season “to better accommodate players,” including the PGT Last Chance, the PGR PLO Series, and the PGT Championship.

The $100,000 Super High Roller Bowl PLO is now scheduled to run from October 16-18, with the PGT PLO Series, an instant success when it first launched last March, immediately following from October 19-30. The same group of players typically plays PokerGO Tour events because of the buy-in amounts, but because of the non-Hold’em format, it attracts over 1,000 players combined. Four $10,000 buy-in ARIA High Roller No-Limit Hold’em tournaments have also been added to the PokerGo schedule from November 27-30.

PokerGo’s new PGT Last Chance series will be from January 2-7, 2024, and the season’s final series will be the PGT Championship, running at the PokerGo Studio from January 9-10, 2024. The top 40 players on the current leaderboard will play for a $1 million prize pool, with the winner taking home $500,000.

The next event on the PokerGO Tour is the Poker Masters, featuring ten events running September 11-26, followed by two ARIA High Roller tournaments and the $300,000 Super High Roller Bowl from September 28-30.

Next on the schedule will be the PGT Mixed Games series from October 5-14, leading up to the High Roller Bowl PLO and the PGT PLO Series.

Daniel Weinman is at the top of the PokerGo Tour leaderboard, thanks to his win in the 2023 World Series of Poker Main Event. Chris Brewer sits in second place after winning two WSOP bracelets, followed by Isaac Haxton, Steven Jones and Adam Walton. Brewer is in the top position at season’s end will take home PGT Player of the Year honors plus a $50,000 prize.
