This iteration of the series will support The Ability Center of Southern Nevada
The Charity Series of Poker (CSOP) is set to return to Las Vegas this September with a special event supporting The Ability Center of Southern Nevada. On September 7, the Stirling Club will host the “All In For Ability” event, aimed at raising funds and awareness for the only special needs gym in Southern Nevada. The event is an opportunity for participants to contribute to empowering individuals with disabilities, helping them gain strength, confidence, and the ability to lead fulfilling lives.
The evening will kick off at 5:30 PM (PDT) with a silent auction, allowing attendees to bid on a variety of items while enjoying a cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres. The main attraction of the night, the charity poker tournament, is set to begin at 7:00 PM (PDT). This fast-paced, turbo-structured tournament offers a top prize worth $5,000, with additional donated prizes totaling over $9,000. For those looking to get in on the action, the buy-in is $300, and players can take advantage of unlimited $100 re-buys and add-ons, with 10,000 chips per re-buy and 20,000 chips per add-on, until registration closes.
For those who prefer not to play, the event still offers plenty to enjoy. Attendees can participate in the silent auction and enjoy dinner for $100, with business casual attire recommended for the evening.
Founded by professional poker player Matt Stout in 2014, the Charity Series of Poker is dedicated to organizing events that benefit worthy causes. The upcoming event in Las Vegas marks the 68th stop for the CSOP, continuing its tradition of combining the excitement of poker with philanthropy. The “All In For Ability” event is more than just a poker tournament, it’s a chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those with special needs in the Southern Nevada community.
