If “it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas”, it’s for a very good reason! The X-Mas holiday is taking place this Monday and with it comes a great long weekend of football action.
NFL Week 16 begins Thursday night with the New Orleans Saints (+4) at the Los Angeles Rams. Both teams are fighting for a playoff spot. And with only three weeks left in the regular season, the vast majority of games this week will affect who makes the postseason, as well as playoff positioning.
Last week, we talked about how there were 10 games with small spreads (four points or less). This week, there are a big 10 more.
And just when you thought Week 16 couldn’t get any better, there are three games on Christmas Day (Monday), giving it a Thanksgiving football feel.
