It wasn’t exactly the marquee matchup of the week, but Week 5 of the NFL season did kick off last night. The Chicago Bears upset (40-20 as 6-point road ‘dogs) the Washington Commanders to get their first win of the season.
The Game of the Week is the Sunday night contest of Dallas (+3) at San Franisco. You need to pay -130 juice at the ACR Poker sportsbook if you want to get the 49ers at -3. The total is 45 points. This is a battle of two of the NFL’s best teams as evidenced by the Super Bowl odds. San Francisco (+490) is the current favorite, while Dallas (+905) ranks fifth.
Note there are only 14 games this week with bye-weeks beginning. The teams taking an early rest are Cleveland, the L.A. Chargers, Seattle and Tampa Bay.
